About this game

Arcade Defender is a Vertical Shoot'em Up in a pure retro style, focused on reviving the experience of playing in old arcades on your phone, while incorporating modern game design elements like core loops, monetization, upgrades, and rewards. Arcade Defender was born as an advergame in collaboration with the Arcade Food & Gamers Monterrey restaurant. It is not just a game, but also a loyalty program that allows you to exchange your achievements for physical rewards at the restaurant located in Monterrey, on Leones Street.

Features

It features two game modes: Arcade mode and Exploration mode for casual players.

• Fight in semi-procedural waves, discover new areas, enemies, and defeat the 10 game bosses.
• Upgrade your power-ups, acquire the 10 collectible ships, and unlock their special attacks.
• Beautiful retro pixel art aesthetics with an inviting audio track to keep shooting.
• Internal achievement system connected to Google Play, cloud saving, and a store.

Game Mode

Exploration Mode allows more casual players to continue from the last wave they reached, enabling them to explore the entire game up to wave 100. On the other hand, Arcade Mode is endless and is designed for more dedicated players who enjoy facing challenges. Additionally, this mode allows them to acquire more resources and use more powerful power-ups.

Bosses and Revenges

Face the 9 bosses, guardians of each zone and their revenges. You must defeat them by dodging their hundreds of projectiles to advance to new areas. It won't be an easy task, but the reward is enormous.

Ships and Special Attacks

Up to 12 ships to choose from, each one has a special attack to obliterate the waves of enemies. For each ship you get, your damage increases permanently allowing you to progress further in the game. Get them all!
